River Warbler - Ham Wall. I last saw River Warbler on June 19th 1995 - that's nearly 26 years ago! It was a singing bird at Scotman's Flash, Wigan. I was struck then by the incredible rhythmic, buzzing song, so it was wonderful to hear that again this evening. It was a quick, post-work trip, but I squeezed in a brief look at the Berrow Lizard Orchids.
