Endothenia sp - either E. gentianeana or E. marginana. Thanks to Barry Henwood. Either a view of the hindwings or a dissection would have settled the identification of this one!

Still very quiet today with singles of Tree Pipit and Wheatear the only signs of migration on Orcombe, and another Tree Pipit over the garden. On Maer Rocks the gull gathering included at least six Mediterranean Gulls, and a Turnstone was present too.
The number of Mallard has leapt to 285+ off Mudbank and 3 Redshank were off there, along with 2 Dunlin on Cockle Sands and a group of about a dozen small wader sp.

Elbow-stripe Grass-veneer - Agriphila geniculea

Turnip Moth

Red Piercer - Lathronympha strigana
