Minimal Migration

Common Seal (I think) on a sandbar off the seafront this morning.

Still not a great deal around this morning. A look off the seafront produced c150+ sandwich tern and at least 15 common tern. Also 1 turnstone. An equally brief spell on Orcombe Point produced 1 garden warbler, 3+ blackcap, just 1 whitethroat, 1 spotted flycatcher and 1 wheatear.
Yesterday a relatively high count of 50+ common tern were with c180+ sandwich tern off the seafront, with 2 mediterranean gull and 1 knot
Mudbank produced 11 ringed plover, 8 mediterranean gull, 170+ mallard, 3 wigeon, 14+ common gull, 6+ whimbrel and a kingfisher. At about 1430 Dave Hopkins very kindly phoned me about an osprey fishing the river. I was able to see it a couple times during the afternoon from my son's bedroom window.
