Small Phoenix


Small Phoenix.

Off Mudbank today - 1 Mediterranean Gull, c35 Whimbrel, c120 Mallard, 1 Common Gull and 70+ Canada Geese. The Yellow-legged Gull continues its stay, favouring the Imperial rugby ground and adjacent recycling centre, but moths are providing most of the interest at the moment.

A very poor year for Broad-leaved Helleborine, locally, but this one still persisting in the shadowy understory along Wright's Lane.
