Mudbank today - 1 Whimbrel with 197 Curlew on Cockle Sands this afternoon. Guessing a winterer rather than an early migrant. Also a single Grey Plover. At least 7 Cattle Egrets were in cattle fields behind Starcross.
Yesterday - 160+ Curlew, 4 Pale-bellied Brent Goose, 3 Dark-bellied Brent Goose, 85+ Turnstone and a surprise pair of Gadwall - my second record this year.
