Female Orange-tip in the garden today.
Sightings from the back garden today include 29 Dark-bellied Brent Geese, 2 Chiffchaff, 2 Bar-tailed Godwit, 2 Grey Heron, 13 Shelduck, 1 Great Crested Grebe, 3 Raven, c30+ Turnstone, 4 Sandwich Tern, 1 Siskin, 4+ Red-breasted Merganser, 9+ Black-headed Gull, c10+ Common Gull, 3 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 38+ Curlew, 1 Whimbrel and 1+ Peregrine. Two Red Kite moved slowly upriver this morning - the first at 1050 and second at 1120.
