Two Drake Pochard


Two drake Pochard off Mudbank this evening. Also 1 Mediterranean Gull. Does 3 Pochard in 3 days signal a slight upturn in fortunes for this species? Highly unusual in Exmouth.

    Ooh I hope so Matt they are stunning ducks and used to be regular visitors to Clennon Lakes - not for the last 4 years though now..

    Do three swallows make a summer? Perhaps not, but they might signal it’s on the way!
