Wet Bank Holiday

Swallows - Orcombe Point.

A look at the sea first thing revealed just a couple Great Northern Divers and a couple Fulmars along with small numbers of Gannets and Kittiwakes. Nearby, on Orcombe, the singing Sedge Warbler still on territory, and 5 Swallows.
Off Mudbank - the first-summer Little Gull was dip-feeding with a single Common Tern, 3 Common Gulls and 6+ Black-headed Gulls. Also off there today - a few small groups of Swallows moving across the river, 18 Bar-tailed Godwits, 3 Mallard and 10+ Sandwich Terns. Really nice to catch up with Dave.
The only other snippet of news - the pair of Tufted Ducks still on Bystock Pool.
