This Spoonbill was off Mudbank late this afternoon.
A late look off Mudbank revealed a juvenile Spoonbill, at least one Cetti's Warbler, 2 Greenshank, 7 Great Crested Grebes, 2 Red-breasted Mergansers, 1 Great Northern Diver and c100 Curlew. Lots of other stuff not counted. The Common Sandpiper was nearby in the brook, along with 2 Redshank.
Yesterday evening - the four Cirl Buntings still on the Imperial recreation ground.
Otherwise, on the 8th, Mudbank counts included 66 Mallard, c50 Redshank, 3 Greenshank, 63 Wigeon, 3 Shoveler (2 males and a female), 1 Pintail and 1 Red-breasted Merganser.
7/1 - 7 Eiders off the seafront, the Great Northern Diver off Shelly Beach and a drake Shoveler off Mudbank.
Cirl Bunting - Imperial recreation ground. The four birds were still present yesterday evening at least.
