This Square-spot Rustic was the biggest surprise from the last couple of nights trapping. It's at least 2 months earlier than it should be! Odd things sometimes happen in the world of mothing. Quite a few species trapped but nothing out of the ordinary. Don't think I've ever caught 7 Eyed hawk-moths in a night!
A pair of Reed Buntings is still frequenting the small reedbed at West Lodge and a Reed Warbler is still singing from there.
Broken-barred Carpet.
Common Tubic Alabonia geoffrella. See lots of these in hedges but can't remember trapping one.
Beautiful Hook-tip.
Large Ivy Tortrix Lozotaenia forsterana. Day-roosting along Halsdon Avenue.
Green Oak Tortrix. Only two of these but every one is appreciated.
Cream-bordered Green Pea.
Clouded Brindle.
Portland Ribbon Wave.
Treble Brown Spot. Lots of these coming to light at the moment.
YLG - 12/6.
Ivy Broomrape - Madeira Walk.
White Plume Moth.
Brown China-mark.
