I first heard this bird below Lower Halsdon Farm, on the 14/11. This morning it was in scrub further along the cycle track and this afternoon, whilst walking the dog, I photographed it in the West Lodge reedbed. I'm pretty chuffed as this is the first photo I've managed of a Cetti's Warbler in Exmouth.
A drake Common Scoter was mid-river, viewed from Mudbank late this morning. Also off there - 11+ Red-breasted Mergansers, 18 Great Crested Grebes, 25 Grey Plovers, 20 Pintail, c70 Mallard and 4 Knot amongst good numbers of Dunlin and a few other bits and pieces.
Earlier, off Maer Rocks - 9+ Turnstones, 9+ Purple Sandpipers and 11 Dark-bellied Brent Geese, with 4 Common Scoters and a Great Crested Grebe in Sandy Bay.
