High Perch

Kingfisher - off Shelly Beach this evening.

Very little to report. It's been very wet and miserable over the last couple of days so my post-work, late afternoon forays have been pretty unproductive. Just 275+ Dunlin, 105+ Turnstones, 3 Greenshank and 3 Grey Plovers counted off Mudbank this evening.

Possibly a Scandanavian bird but the locals get greyer above and pinker below in the breeding season.
