Dusky-lemon Sallow

Really chuffed to find this stunning Dusky-lemon Sallow in the trap this morning - a brand new one for me and a scarce and localised species to boot. Apparently the larvae feed on Wych Elm which I'm not short of here in Exmouth.

Three Pink-barred Sallow trapped last night.

Several Feathered Ranunculus trapped last night. This one was particularly well-marked. A truly gorgeous species.

  1. Beautiful Moths Matt. Phone playing up for several days sorted now. Still plenty of Swallows heading south with Serious numbers of Meadow Pipit and Skylark over Ashford N Devon. See you at the beginning of November
