Eider

Dreadful weather all day. A dawn sea-watch, before the rain started coming in horizontally, produced Great Northern Diver, Red-throated Diver, 1 Arctic Skua, 1 Great Skua, 3 Sandwich Tern, c15+ Common Scoter and small numbers of auk sp, Kittiwake and Gannet.
Two Eider were off Warren Point and the Water Pipit remains on the dung heap. Also 3 or 4 Meadow Pipit and a Snipe there but the horrendous weather prevented further searching.

A very bedraggled -looking Water Pipit in exactly the same spot as yesterday.
