One of three Spotted Flycatchers on Orcombe Point this morning.
Migrants on Orcombe this morning included 3 Spotted Flycatchers, 1 Wheatear, 20+ Swallows, 1+ Willow Warbler and 1 Ringed Plover. Also recorded - 4 Common Terns offshore, 3 Cirl Buntings, c10 Skylarks, 2 Whitethroats, 2 Kestrels, c50/60 Linnets, c10/20 Goldfinches, 2 Great Spotted Woodpeckers and a fly-by flock of 14 Cormorants.
Mudbank - c190 Oystercatchers, 2 Redshank, 1 Greenshank, 66 Whimbrel, 1 Dunlin, 3 Knot, 6 Bar-tailed Godwits, 1 Grey Wagtail, 25 Mute Swans, 3 Mediterranean Gulls, c50+ Swallows, c40 Sandwich Terns and 33+ Common Terns. The Yellow-legged Gull was on the Imperial rugby ground.
Yesterday - 1 Wheatear and 1 Willow Warbler on Orcombe and 10 Great Crested Grebes off Mudbank.
9/8 - 1 juvenile Stonechat on Orcombe Point and the 5cy Yellow-legged Gull on the Imperial rugby ground.
8/8 - 1 Garden Warbler still on Orcombe with at least 5 Blackcaps. Mudbank - 2 Common Sandpipers, 4 Common Terns, 1 Cattle Egret, 25+ Cattle Egrets, 1 Stock Dove, 5 Great Crested Grebes, 1 Mediterranean Gull and a high count of c455 Mallard.
The 5cy Yellow-legged Gull was again on the Imperial rugby ground today.
