Spoonbill on Shed!

Popped into the Imperial rugby ground this evening, hoping some gulls would be on the pitch over the high tide. Wasn't expecting to see the Spoonbill! It relocated to Cockle Sands not long before dark, as the tide dropped. No sign of the Iceland Gull tonight and I haven't seen the Yellow-legged Gull since November 24th, despite regular checks.

  1. Brilliant Matt, I love it when birds turn in completely out of context places!

  2. Thanks Mike - yep me too. It's nice to have this bird close by - it means I get to see it on a daily basis. Can't imagine I'll see it anywhere more unusual though! All the best. Matt
