Woke to strong westerlies this morning. A quick look off the seafront produced a first-winter Little Gull, lingering offshore between Maer Rocks and Orcombe Point for a while around 0820. Otherwise just a small number of Gannets, 1 Kittiwake and a Red-throated Diver.
Mudbank was blown out but the juvenile Spoonbill remains and 127 Shelduck were on Cockle Sands. Duck numbers have dropped off considerably with just 29 Pintail logged. Otherwise - 2 Ravens, 1 Bar-tailed Godwit, 1 Kingfisher and 2 Greenshank. Off Shelly Beach - 1 Great Northern Diver and 2 Ravens late pm.

Much lower numbers of Great Crested Grebes were off Mudbank today - no doubt due to the strong winds.
