Singles of Spotted Flycatcher, female Redstart and Yellow Wagtail on Orcombe Point this morning - all fleeting and uncooperative as far as photos were concerned. To give you some idea of how lousy it's been this spring, the Redstart and Yellow wag were both only the second records for the year and the Spot Fly was my fourth. Otherwise - a single Turnstone on Maer Rocks and three Firecrest territories located on Exmouth soil, so far this spring.
Hard Fern - Bystock.
Unfurling Hard Ferns.
I think this tiny plant could be Parsley Piert or Slender Parsley Piert.
