Swallow Prominent and Pale-bellied Brents

Swallow Prominent

A flock of 23 Pale-bellied Brent Geese had become a flock of 57 a short while later. I'm not sure if there were two separate flocks or 34 joining the original 23. Otherwise a very quiet day with just 5 Red-breasted Merganser, 4 Dark-bellied Brent Geese, and 13+ Black-headed Gulls making the notebook.
Mothing was similarly uneventful with 3 Hebrew Character, 1 Early Thorn, 1 Muslin Moth, 1 Small Quaker, 5 Powdered Quaker, 1 Mullein, 1 Swallow Prominent and 3 Early Grey trapped.

Small Quaker

This beautiful Powdered Quaker has stunning tangerine markings on its cream forewing.

Grey Herons are wise to avoid Herring Gull territories.
