Red-throated Divers

A look at the sea from the raised beach huts, prior to 0845, produced a reasonable count of 20 Red-throated Divers (all south), 2 diver sp, 2 Great Northern Divers, 3 Common Scoter, 20+ Kittiwake and a Fulmar. Several auks were whizzing past further out. I managed to identify the closest one - a Guillemot but that was all.
The cattle fields on Orcombe Point attracted good numbers of Black-headed Gulls and at least 53 Pied Wagtails. No sign of the Cirl Bunting during a brief look.
A quick look around Liverton Copse, for the first time this winter, revealed one Firecrest, 1 Chiffchaff and a Treecreeper. I'm sure there's more in there but the wind was making locating stuff quite tricky.
