Cattle Egrets

Great Black-backed Gull - Imperial Rugby Club. Quiet again in Exmouth today. Two Red-throated Divers past Orcombe Point early morning, before football, and that's about it!

I made my annual 'Powderham Sawmills' trip across the river this afternoon. Penduline Tit the target but no such luck. Not even a Chiffchaff this afternoon. Whilst over that way I decided to look for Cattle Egrets at the Starcross Environment Agency labs - just two birds present but very nice to see. A larger flock has apparently been gathering later on, pre-roost.

Had a quick look for the Bearded Tits on the way home - along the cycle track south of Double Locks - no luck but good views of two Kingfishers, a Cetti's Warbler and a Snipe (below).
