Black Red

Knot - Mudbank

A combination of heavy workload, poor weather, football and a new kitchen being fitted has meant virtually no birding for the past three weeks. I managed an hour out this afternoon but could do no better than an adult male Black Redstart down near the sailing club - a different bird to the two present down there back in November.
I saw my first Dipper in ages, at Simmon's Park, whilst waiting for kick-off against Okehampton this morning but that's about it.

A nicely marked third-winter Herring Gull - Mudbank

Grey Plover and Redshank - Mudbank

Grey Wagtail - Mudbank - note the all white tail on this bird.
