Osprey

Osprey - flying upriver off Mudbank this morning. Thanks to Lee for the text. Later, at 1650, it was sat on a post, upriver off Lympstone.

Mudbank - Osprey, c20 Sandwich Tern and a Grey Wagtail. I arrived just after the Osprey had scared most birds off. Later this afternoon the Osprey was again seen from Mudbank, perched off Lympstone.
Nearby, off Shelly Beach, a decent gathering of gulls attracted at least 3 Mediterranean Gulls, a massive juvenile Yellow-legged Gull and c50+ Sandwich Terns. Also 2 Turnstones off there. Yesterday off Shelly, a similar gathering held at least 6 Common Terns but no sign of them on this afternoon's visit.

Common Darter.

Southern Hawker.

Emperor.
