Red Kite, White Ramping-fumitory

White Ramping Fumitory - really pleased to discover this after work, along a lane below Colaton Raleigh Common. A tiny bit of bird news today - a Red Kite over the college as I collected my year 10s from the muster point. Must have been around11am.

This Common Ramping-fumitory, growing nearby, provided a useful comparison. The White Ramping has noticeably more slender flowers (many of which are angled downwards) and larger leaves.

Leopard's-bane seed-head.

Early Marsh Orchid - lots more of these found on another part of the Pebbled Heaths.

Heath Spotted Orchid.

Brimstone and Common Lizard.
