Bonaparte's Again

Rock Pipit

I spent a very pleasant, albeit freezing cold hour after work, around Exmouth Quay this evening. The highlight was the adult bonaparte's gull with a second-winter mediterranean gull. Both were stood on a disappearing sandbar before feeding over the water. I also managed to get shots of a kingfisher, presumably the bird that often gets around the Quay/Pontoon area. Three turnstones were picking at scraps left over by the fishermen on the Quay.
