Ochreous Pug

Ochreous Pug - a new one for me. No Scots Pine particularly close so it has obviously wandered a little way. Otherwise - more variety than of late and immigrant species - 4 Silver Y, 3 Rusty Dot Pearl and singles of Diamond-back and Rush Veneer. Fantastic to catch up with Nick today. It's been too long!

Off Mudbank today - 1 Greenshank, 1 Grey Plover, 1 Dunlin, 5 Curlew, 8 Whimbrel, 70+ Black-headed Gulls, 2 Mediterranean Gulls, 2 Sandwich Terns, 1 Pale-bellied Brent Goose and 3 Dark-bellied Brent Geese. Along the seafront - a Reed Warbler was singing from the edge of the cricket pitch.

 Bar-tailed Godwit.

Pale-bellied Brent Goose.
