Matt. That’s interesting - I was going to tell you that I saw a little egret on a roof in Carter Avenue on Saturday. I thought it was a little unusual. I don’t think I’ve seen one on a roof before.
Hi Neil - yes, I can't remember seeing one on a roof before. Have seen roof-top Grey Herons so it's probably not too unusual. I assume it's the one that regularly feeds in the brook. Look out for the Kingfisher down at Mudbank - its favoured perch is in the brook - the mess on the wall is a giveaway! All the best. Matt.
