Poms and Rosy T

Two of this morning's five Pomarine Skuas. All five below.

Five Pomarine Skuas were wheeling around menacingly off the seafront this morning. Thank you Lee for the call. Two of the five were spooned. I caught up with just one Roseate Tern today. Thank you Mark. I had it off Cockwood from Shelly Beach this morning and off the seafront this afternoon. Also today - off the Imperial - 7 Common Tern, 1+ Sandwich Tern, 105+ Curlew, 7 Bar-tailed Godwit, 7+ Whimbrel and 4+ Mediterranean Gull. The first-summer 'portlandica' Arctic Tern was on Bull Hill on the dropping tide.

Zig-Zag Clover - I hope I've identified this correctly. Confirmation or otherwise would be appreciated.

  2. Thanks Neil - chuffed I got the clover right. Thought it was a really lovely flower. Must be making (very slow) progress! The Poms were good. First I've seen for a long, long time. All the best. Matt
